It looks like a portrait of a mother and a child but it can also be an adult woman holding her inner child. In the end, it's one and the same thing.
I painted this piece durning one of my visits to my hometown Warsaw. It was a very special trip. I was reconnecting with the memories of my childhood through places, people and things. Those days I didn't talk too much. I felt the subtle company of the vibe of the little girl that I was once. She was a daydreamer always surrounded by her animal friends visible only to her magic eyes. The bear, the wolf and the fox were following her to all her adventures and making her feel safe in the darkness.It's a negative nightlight version of the watercolour painting.
