This painting was made after I came back from Brazilian savannas. I spend some unforgettable time living naked in the forest letting myself be melted with the plants and the rocks surrounding me. The sun was the only clock showing the great rhythm of everydayness. We were making fire each night to feel safe and warm. The simplicity can become so powerful.
