Illustrations from a book " Środek Wszechświata '' of Tales of the People of the Earth written by Magdalena Polkowska Baśnie Ludów Ziemi, a Polish storyteller. Its a book of traditional Lakota tales. Each tale was illustrated by different artist. I took part in illustrating Shunka Wakhan and Father Sky. It was a delicate and passionate work. I wanted to honour Lakota culture and give their ancient stories images that would nurture our modern eyes.
